Welcome to Kristofferson Tutoring
David Kristofferson, Ph.D., MBA, is a retired scientist, biotech IT Director, and California certificated teacher qualified to teach physics, mathematics, and chemistry. He provides tutoring services to high school students who live in the San Mateo, CA area, especially at Aragon High School, and is in high demand, with his schedule typically filling up before the start of the next school year.
Dr. Kristofferson previously taught physics at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, mathematics and environmental science at George Washington High School in San Francisco, and substitute taught in every school in the San Mateo Union High School District. Kristofferson Tutoring has a mission of trying to instill a passion for math and science in students. Four of his students have been accepted to Ivy League colleges.
The service does not do SAT and other standardized test preparation. Tutoring is provided only during the academic year, and the service is closed during the summer.
